Plot and visuals come together in "Exit Wounds", a rich and intense
graphic novel about a young man living in Tel-Aviv.
It is a glimpse into people's daily lives in a tumultuous and dangerous area of the world. It follows the young man on a journey to find details of his father's disappearance, a father with whom he has been estranged from for several years and has little interest in. He is pulled into the search by his father's much younger girlfriend, and the relationship between her and the young man becomes a main theme in the story. The book is well-written, and the sparse, simple graphics (drawn by the author) match the feel of the story. The product is a moving story with fresh, clean drawings, that is well worth the read.
