The origin of buddha birth is in india,in the north of india.his father was the king suddhodhana and his kingdom was called
kapilvastu.mahamaya was the queen of kaplivastu.one night the queen dreamt a white elephant with six tusks coming from the sky entered in her womb.the next day astrologers came to interprete the dream.they predicted that the queen will give birth to a son.the queen was to become mother so she left at her mother place to have her first child.on the way the queen gave birth to a divine child at lumbini.but unfortunately the queen died seven days after giving birth to his son.so the younger sister gotami got married to the king and buddha was brought up by her.astrologers came to predict the future of the prince.a saint named asista predicted that buddha either will become a great king or a great saint.
the real name of buddha is siddharta.siddharta was always surrounded by people who is well dressed, young.the king did eveything to keep the prince happy.then at the age of sixteen the prince got married to a beautiful princess.the prince did not experience what is suffering.
the four signs:one day siddharta expressed to go out of the kingdom.so the king ordered that all the people have to dress beautifully.inspite all the precaution the prince saw an old man.he asked his driver who is he? his driver answer it is an old man and one dad everyone will become old.so siddharta could not enjoy his trip and when in the palace.another day he saw a sick man.now he learnt with his driver that everybody got sick.the third time he see an dead man.he learnt that eveyone will die one day.the fourth occasion he saw a saint who is happy happy.due to this four incidents siddharta could not stay peaceful.so in search of the truth he left his wife and his son on the seventh ay of his birth.siddharta went to many places and learnt many thing with sages.but he could not get the answer what he is seeking.so he decided to attain his goal by himself.
he kept on doing meditation under a tree.he spent seven weeks under a tree and finally he was enlighted.
