A word about the Atkins Diet.
Here we go again! The all mighty diet, as they say. Well, this is not really a diet. It is a way of life. Believe me, I have tried diets and this is not one of them. I love this way of eating. It puts a hault to your cravings, fills you up and trims your body. What more would anyone want? It really is a shame that the low fat diets have taken over the world. It's the mighty dollar that started it. So should I try the Atkins or not, you say? Well, how will you know if you cannot go outside the conditioning of the low fat diet? There are so many wonderful tasty things you can eat. You can cook for your family the healthy way and they won't even know it! Use bacon as a garnish not as a meal. Yummy salads served with steak, fresh berries with real whipped cream. Stop starving yourself and eat well, get fit, be happy! You can make your own recipes by going by the food lists provided in the book. The best thing about this way of eating, is how little you really need to eat. You do not get hungry. I always had to remind myself to eat, but I sure did enjoy the meals I prepared. Watermellon, Wow! The taste was so good I had to say a little prayer of thanks every time I ate some. You get to know what the food really tastes like. You start noticing that your cloths don't fit you anymore. You go to the mirror and smile because you need to go shopping. Who does not want to do that? At least take the time to read the book, you will learn the simple truths about the food you eat, your body and what it needs, and how simple it is to lose the weight.
