At the start of the book it's obvious a disaster has happened but it isn't clear what exactly. The protagonist is injured
and heartbroken, that we know. But the rest of the details are not at all clear.
She is part of an irish family who are well meaning if not a little crazy.
It is a tale of a woman trying to come to terms with a tragic accident that resulted in the loss of her husband. She finds it impossible to accept his death and wants to know where he is and to talk to him.
She goes to psychics, spiritual communicators and mediums in an attempt to talk to him. She emails him and leaves voicemails.
She discovers what Aiden (her deceased husband) was going to tell her the night he died and goes on a journey involving anger, love, family, friends and tears.
It culminates in her eventual acceptance and realization of Aiden's death.
The book is gripping, with tears and laughter. It is very difficult to put it down, I managed to finish it in 3 days with many long hour sessions.
It is a must read but prepared to become emotionally involved in the protagonist's emotions.
