The Lions Hand Book to the Bible

Book Review by: WTCN

Original Author: Pat and David Alexander

The Bible is one of the largest text books with over 4000 pages. Many people are threatened

by its large volume and some who try to read it end up misinterpreting it. This is may be because of its philosophical language used to write the Bible as well as the cultural differences. The Lions Hand Book to the Bible was written to solve most of the challenges faced by the Bible re readers.
The Lions Hand Book to the Bible was written in a simple and well understood language to help Bible readers at all levels to be able to understand and nterprete the Holy scriptures appropriately. Its language can easily be understood by both the beginners and the advanced Bible readers.
This Book is well summarized pointing out the main points from the whole Bible without leaving out essential details. This saves time for the Bible readers because one can read and complete the whole Bible in a few hours.
The books also clearly gives the appropriate context when the Bible was written. This helps the reader to understand and compare the then culture with the present when he/she is to make the right interpretation as well as application.
The Lions Hand Book to the Bible is endowed with very attractive maps and photographs to help the reader understand the context, the people and the sites of the times when the Bible was written. Map are particularly important in determining distances between different sites referred to in the Bible.
Fianally the Lions hand Book to the Bible provides several cross references to enable the readers relate the scriptures from the whole Bible in order to make informed decisions required during the application process. This is important because many isolate certain verses from the Bible and misinterprete them to justify  their own  evil actions hence misleading people.
