The closest I’ve come to reading anything on medieval Europe, has been through this book. Alexander Dumas, who is said
to have been frequently sent to prison, made a rather constructive use of his time spent behind bars.
This, I’m told was necessary since the money his stories fetched was used to bail him out of prison.
Interesting indeed. Much like his tales actually!
“One for all, all for one!” This line forms the crux of the novel that involves three friends and their trials and tribulations through life. Quite a read, actually!
