Wherever you are in which every
country you are in ...the pocket sized MILLS AND BOON is always an easy choice to make to
/while away the hours/ I must admit I became a devotee of this genre of
romantic fiction!
Don't you just love the perfection of the hero - his debonair good looks - none of that dreadful long hair, or hirsute attire for us as readers! There is then juxtaposed in this genre the beautiful heroine who falls madly in love with /our man/ and the conclusion is always satisfactory.
This style of
writing flows easily into a
narrative that allows you to dip in and out of the book without too many terrible moments of /heavens I havent really time for all of this/ you can read it in a jiffy if you are hard pressed like myself.
On to THE FINAL PROPOSAL ... the story is ..about a farmer who is an image consultant ..who dispises city women and hates country life ...
The first line reads /Gerry I look completely ridiculous/ this easy style suggests an action that takes the reader into the introductory narrative.
Some of my friends positively /hate/ Mills and Boon so they tell me! They dislike this altogether
easy come easy go style of writing! Myself I enjoy it and have continued to read the Mills and Boon genre over the last ten years ... keep on reading ... all good stuff!
