Buried Onions was about a mexican man named Eddie living in Fresno, Nevada. Eddie is in his mid twentys and has accomplished

absolutely nothing in his life. He has dropped out of college, been involved with gangs, and now lives in bad apartment. At this point in his life Eddie lost his father, his best friend, and now his cousin Jesus. Eddie finally realizes that it is time that he start doing something with his life so he sets out painting curbs, and eventually ends up joining the Navy. After getting involved in several gang fights, Eddie sees the Navy as his way to get out of Fresno and get away from the " buried onions".
