One of the best books that I already read in my life, the author show
on details all extremely the events of the book,
since the great
battles until the hottest romances that happen in the book.
It is 1667 and the mighty naval war between the Dutch and the English
still rages. Sir Francis Courtney and his son Hal, in their fighting
caravel, are on patrol off Southern Africa, lying in wait for a galleon
of the Dutch East India Company returning from the Orient laden with
spices, timber and gold.
Sometimes is possible to
imagine yourself inside a movie (and I think
this book can be a movie), you can smell the breeze coming from the see
or hearing the sound of cannons coming from the Galleons in middle of a
battle.
The most important thing to remember is the fact of all the places exist in South Africa, this make the book more real.
I was imagine excelent people in this movie like, Sean Conery, Mel Gibson, Angelina Jolie and Milla Jovovich.
Enjoy this book with a good
soundtrack my recommended list: A lot of Celtic Music or the soundtrack from Pirates of Caribbean.
