This handbook is highly recommended to alla mothers and
father. It's a continuation of bestsellers like 'Awaiting a
child' and 'The first year of child's life'. This book
contains really lot of knowledge about child's growth when
it is 2 and 3 years old, I use it by myself all the time.
You'll find here eg. information about perfect growth of the
children in this age, their abilities, which things should
alarm in behaviour or growth.
It is also a great cheat sheet in difficult situations or in
case of child's illness. The book shows the stages of
growth, month after month. In each month there are abilities
given, which a child should and could have, problems, which
can occur at a given stage, and also different advice
concerning reactions in conflict situations, symptoms of
dangerous illnesses or evolution problems.
In addition each stage of growth has its comments containing
answers t different questions of the parents. Almost every
question is answered here. You'll find out, eg. what is
behind the two year old anger, how to teach your child to
sleep by him/herself, when to put off the dummy or the
bottle and hundreds of other needed informations. The book
is written in a language understandable for each reader and
divided into chapters very wisely. Furthermore it contains
advice about diet, curing illness at home in an emergency,
and also about the most pupular illnessess in the children's
age and needed vaccinations. All parents are most advised to
use knowledge and experience of the specialists, this
handbook is a treasury of knowledge about child's growth.
