Raven's Prey

Book Review   by:Serenity Baxter     Original Author: Jayne Ann Krentz
ª

Opposites attract when a 20th century damsel in distress meets a modern day mercenary with old fashioned values. Honor Knight tends to act first and ask questions later. That’s one of the reasons she agrees to take a job with a dishonest business tycoon. When she realizes her boss is a smuggler, she grabs proof and runs to Mexico. Her ex-employer hires someone to find her and the files she’s stolen and bring her back. Judd Raven is a soldier for hire. Rumor has it, he’s the sort of man who will do any job if the price is right. Judd prides himself on his ability to gather the relevant facts and arrive at a logical conclusion. He gets the feeling his client is holding something back; it rankles. Even though search and rescue isn't his usual line of work, he agrees to find Honor anyway. When Judd tracks Honor to a small town cantina, she thinks he’s been hired to kill her. The Raven’s Prey decides its time to fight for her life.
