refer to the antichrist as the one who brings the
apocalypse , but what is the
apocalypse ? The battle of good vs. evil? the end of days? what if the apocalypse
is
taking place right now, has been taking place for the last several years. It
doesn't happen right infront of our face, but inside our heads, inside the
collective brain of human nature. We are slowly killing the gods we have created,
by asking why. Now a religious person would call someone like Marillyn Manson
a satanist, pervert, drug user, etc. all of these things true, but i see him more as
a philosipher, artist, poet, genius. If there is such a thing as the antichrist, and
he is the one who pushes our freethinking minds to ask why I would say that
truly is a fitting handle for the reverend Manson. This book of human extreemes
is the best rock and roll bio i have ever read, I laughed to the point of tears,
cringed in disgust, and watched fear take on a friendly face. Anyone who isn't
open minded about thing like sexuality, drug use, satanism, will probally write
this one off like everything else the bible doesnt agree with, but if you look past
the make-up, past the glam, and the media portrayals, you find a poet, a punk
rock nietzsche with a message more powerful than the bible itself. repent!
