Book Review   by:wandy     Original Author: John Grisham

Rudy Baylor, a chronic and ambitious hustler, neglected by parents and he survived through the law school as a bar tender. He passed the bar examinations while others that are more opportune than him failed. He came in contact with Dot and Buddy Black while he was selected as one of the students to study the legal problems of the elderly. Dot and Buddy were being denied their insurance claims by Great benefit insurance while their son Donny Ray Black was dying of leukaemia. These actions by Great Benefit Insurance frustrated the efforts of the elderly parents from having access to better treatment and Donny Ray Black eventually died of the dreaded diseases. Rudy Baylor the inexperienced Lawyer with little or no experience on how to handle minor legal issues, is now left with the alternatives of bailing the embittered Blacks from these predicaments. Amateur Rudy Baylor is now face to face with Great Insurance and Trent and Brents, two co-operate juggernauts, that are bent on achieving there greedy aims by all possible means. Rudy Baylor as presented by John Grisham is an embodiment of hard work, perseverance, tolerance, endurance, humility and consistency. All these he combined to achieve all aims against all the odds.
