The Da Vinci Code

Article Review by: cheryl19

Original Authors: Brown; Dan
The Da Vinci Code is a great book of its times. The book digs deep into our imaginations and answers the questions we have
regarding religion, science and art. Never before have we really imagined a world of conspiracy. The concept of us existing in a straightforward world where religion is religion, artists are just artists; is revealed in this novel to be completely false. The da vinci code presents us with secret brotherhoods within the greatest artists, scientists and the greatest minds of history. For many heretics out there who want something to identify with, this book is perfect. It gives us a more realistic view to religion than the bible.
Not only is The Da Vinci code full of symbolic coding, but the book intertwines a story of a detective and you feel as though you wish you were there in the book, solving the riddles and clues before getting completely stumped by the fantastic twists.
For any Da Vinci Code lovers, the film coming out May next year starring Tom Hanks, should have everyone on the edge of your seats.
