Juliet Rising

Article Review by: fcampbell

Original Author: Cleo Cordell
This book far outstrips any you may have read so far on the subject of the dominant female. Cordell writes with a deft and
delicate touch about the true nature of women who dominate men and the men who willing submit to their every whim.
Set in 'Madame Nicol's exclusive but strict 18th-century ladies' academy' this novel will warm the loins of all who read it, just as surely as if they had been pupils there themselves. The action is not centred entirely upon the relationship of the dominant women and her male. There is also a chapter dealing with a reversal of these roles which will put some readers in mind of the classic and much loved 'Lady Chatterley's Lover'. The language is at all times forthright and devastatingly descriptive, without entering into the realms of crude porography.
Also to be found within these pages is the description of the lust that a woman may feel for another woman and how that desire may be translated into the strictest and most pleasurable of punishments. This book really is set apart from others of its ilk, most notably by the skill with which the author has allowed us into her realms of fantasy. Once read will not be enough for this book and its place should surely lie within easy reach of the bed, happy reading!
