An interesting aspect to note when reading Harry Potter is to
view it from a more mature point of view. Letting go of any inhibitions about how "childish" the
books may be, and giving them a sporting chance can make all the difference on how you read and enjoy this book, and the full potential of these books should be revealed to you, if you do just that.
Now do not accuse me of betraying you. Essentially, these books were made for children. There's easily followed plots made to captivate a child's mind, and there's jokes and gags and a beautiful innocent about them that make these books perfect and place able in a child's personal library.
However, because of an adult's deeper intellect, they can see so much more in these books. These books, to me, are a beautiful snapshot of life. The amazing transformation of Harry Potter, from a skinny eleven year old
boy staring curiously around him at the unexplored world before him into a sixteen year old
young man, older and wiser and ready to
fight for what he believes is right.
It's a
story about the fight against evil, from the good guys point of view. It's a story where bravery prevails over all, and about a young boy finding himself, making friends, and becoming a hero. This book isn't all about magic and dragons and wands, this book is about growing up, learning new things. This book is about life, and what better a subject to read about, after all.
These books contain it all. Action, to keep you turning the page. Clear and concise writing from the author, with concrete images enough of castles and of monsters and of flying on a broomstick to
simply drag you, kicking and screaming, into this imaginary world. Such funny and unique and human characters, as to keep provoking your emotions that you’ll find yourself thinking and worrying about them, even after you’ve put down the book for the night.
These books contain it all, books for all ages, books of all genres, books full of different characters; simply a six-piece masterpiece.
