The seven
habits are:
1. Be proactive
2. Begin with the end in
mind 3. Put first things first
4.
Think win/win
5. Seek first to understand, then to be understood
6. Synergize
7. Sharpen the saw
Stephen Covey explains the concepts in detail with beautiful metaphors. Practical exercises are included in each chapter to help us put the
habits into practise.
If you have these habits, you will be effective. However, good habits are not easy to cultivate and we have to work on them.
In order to benefit from the book you have to read it with an open
mind and be prepared to undergo a paradigm shift.
