It tells us of the magical
journey of an Andalusian shepherd boy, who
dreams of a treasure ,hidden near the Pyramids of Egypt and travels in quest of it , in the process fulfilling his destiny.
It is the story of a boy who wants to claim the
life of his dreams. Through his journey , from his home in Spain he travels to the markets of Tangiers and into the Egyptian desert where he meets an Alchemist. Here he learns about the Soul of the World that God created so that through its visible objects we could understand his spiritual teachings and the marvels of his wisdom.
In every page of this wondrous, magical story are
hidden little pearls of wisdom which have a profound and life enhancing impact on the reader.
It inspires the
