The continued fate of princess Sultana or better yet her
daughters;
Mahy and Amani. The older one as a fortmidable
beauty with a big
temperament and several talents, doesn't seem to find herself in a
society where men are the most important. The younger one, always
smiling and loving animals falls in a religious fanatism.
The author also describes practices of children killing, depravity and
cruelty on young girls sold to saudis. They are used as temporary
fiancées. Sultana proves that neither in Koran
or Mahomet's writings there is no place for such treatment of women, as
it usually happens in Muslim famillies. This book is very interesting
really fast to read. Jean Sasson skillfully makes the reader become
familiar with the main character and her
daughters.
