Problem solving

Book Review by: Anonymous

Original Author: Adarsh Gupta
The managers who solve the problem systematically are balanced and logical. In this procedure they are able to pay attention
on each and every point. The manager who solves the problem intuitively is not able to solve the problem from its base. Compared to systematic managers, intuitive managers are less worrisome about the importance of data and difficulties occurred to him.
In solving problems systematically, one comes across five types of questions. Those are what the source of trouble is, what the trouble is exactly, what are solutions of the trouble, which solution is best among all and what actions should be taken to solve the problem. If the presentation is good than anticipated, the manager will ask one to make progress. This type of difficulty is known as opportunity.
When success is less than the predictable result, the problem occurs. In general, the expected result is the aim. The growth of the manager will stop if he is not able to differentiate between the problem and the reasons of problem. To recognize the problem manager should know external and internal environment of business. Manager must identify the problem immediately when he faces it.
To solve problem systematically there are some instructions like relaxing head for some while, think on the problem and the solution for it. One must not mix two things together in such a way that you can not differentiate them. If essential, there should be different solutions for different problems. Thinking properly and solving the problem from its root, are the qualities of the good manager.
