The attractive girl, in fact, hears every night a mysterious voice that calls her from the withdrawn and that teaches her the art of the song: her "angel of the music". The voice is in reality that of the "Phantom of the Opera", a mysterious character that is disfigured and mad. When the primadonna Carlotta leaves the stage, Ladies Giry advises to replace her with Christine that does so her debut on the stage. Splendid with white clothing of stage, the girl sings divine, makes enchanting the public, the Phantom and also the counts Raoul Chagny, patron of the theater, young, attractive and rich. The love of the Phantom, that wants to transform the girl in a star of the Opera, carrying her however in his world of darkness, becomes an obsession and Christine, attracted and charmed from her teacher because he is her "angel of the music", is so divided between the romantic love for Raoul and the dark passion for the Phantom, between a tormented life and a serene love.
