Dear Invisible Friends,
To know what to say and at what moment to say it, to recognize and explore a theme that seems to stand out, and simply to do it-basing this hope on an isolated phrase or
simple expression-is something that, even if it is done tactfully, requires one to be rather daring and, above all, very lucky.
So, in this way, even without visualizing it, we are able to enter a world that is completely unknown to us. I am referring to the open field of interpretation, of course. It is just like a harmonious sensation which floats through the atmosphere, from one second to the next, and changes into confusion.
If we could just know at what point to allow things to reach the "momentum," and if we could put aside that which we believe we have learned
everyday, perhaps, and only perhaps, the result might be the one that was initially desired.
Who understands what I'm trying to say? Raise your hand, you who believes that you know how our minds function and at what precise moment something can seem simple and other times more complex. Most of the time, if the words are only listed to in empty space, they don't carry any specific meaning. In that case, there is nothing to read between the lines, but it seems that it is in our
nature to embellish them with feelings and the condition of our spirit. Therefore, any statement followed by a question is, like I said before,
capable of transforming
calm into a
storm and a storm back into calm...judging by that, it seems that the simple exercise of writing down one's thoughts can keep the rain clouds away and make the sun come out.
At this stage, and having knowledge of what follows, it only seems that the hope would remain that someday one will find the magic key to serenity that some might perhaps imagine to be like expression which is capable of transmitting a sense of peacefulness. Others who are not so high-minded would associate it with boredom. Will this be what one really wants? Or will it be that only when certain events transpire and one reflects on them will one be in the presence of oneself ?
Everyday life is like a mist that conceals the extreme nature of things. To stir at the bottom of one's glass, although it makes the contents cloudy, helps remind us from time to time that often, although we are able to look from one side to the other, we can't always get to that point with our eyes closed.
