With all the new age books out there today, a reader can get confused in regards to some of the references used throughout these books. So I highly recommend getting New Age
Encyclopedia to guide the reader. The author writes in good detail in regards of
different components, such as different healing systems, herbs and certain people throughout the new age world.
Like other reference books, this book is made up of A to Z for easy access. There is some diagrams to help explain different patterns: EX Planets and correspondences. In the back, the author gives the readers resources that can be accessed via internet, snail mail or telephone. I, personally, have used a couple of these resources in the past, and plan to use them again in the future.
This book is one of the few that come down from my bookshelves when I am doing research for my own personal writings, or when reading a book where I need more details to help explain a certain matter. This book was recommended to me by a new age shop owner, and I am pleased she did. There were things throughout the book that I didn't find in other new age books that I have read. This author explained to me in simple, easy to understand facts about tarot readings, crystals, and certain people throughout history that I have had only glimpsed a paragraph or two of...but now learned more.
New Age encyclopedia is one of the best reference books out there in the market today.
