A Revolução dos Bichos

Book Review by: Natan

Original Author: Orwell, George
This abstract was translated from Animal Farm
This work, easily understandable, is mandatory for those who are willing to understand the reality of a regime supposedly
social, focused on the liberation of the masses.Orwell ,in fact, not only showed a very coherent critical perception of the Left Wing of his time, but also, and most important, revealed a prophetical vein concerning the political game. The atmosphere is dense, permeated with a negative perspective, clearly a demonstration of the divergent positions of the leaders of The Soviet Union : Stalin looking for closure and Trotsky, wisely realising that if the Revolution weren´t taken to the peoples, the communism would´t survive. The characters are of incomparable historical value; how can we not see the obtuse depiction of Stalin in Napoleon and the deep similarities between the kind and pleasant Snowball with the leader Trotsky, just to mention the main characters. The expression " All animals are equal, but some are more equal than the others " is a perfect demonstration of what totalitarian regimes bring out in men, men whom the regimes claim to be the defenders of ! The plots to take over and remain with the power, legitimated as " common interest" ( of thoise who are dominated by the leader's big stick) teaches that some concepts ought to be reviewed by Human History. This humble summary is intended to set the healthy sparkle of reading this spectacular classic of mankind
