The ancient Rome scribe did not have paper, pen, pencil or ink. How, then, did they record the events? The medium was a tablet with raised edges covered with a wax layer. As many as 20 such tablets could be fastened together to form a book. Stylus, similar to pencil was used for the actual writing. The point was ivory or steel, the other end flat in order to easily smooth the wax when the notes were no longer needed and a new tablet required. In 1918, he outlined his famous fourteen points, the term which he believed should be used as the bans for the peace treaty settling the first World War which the United States had entered in April 1917 on the side of Allies- Great Britain, France, Italy and Russia. This is the only usage exampleof shorthand by Great man. People does not know this type of information relating to shorthand which is described in the book.
