The second part of the
book contains helpful information for the woman who is in a relationship with a misogynist. With chapter titles ranging from “How are you feeling?” to “Finding yourself again,” the reader learns how to regain those freedoms that she had previously relinquished. What seemed most surprising in this book was that the situations which Dr. Forward cited were lived by women who were incredibly intelligent, many of whom had had brilliant careers prior to their involvement with the oppressive men. The writing style of Dr. Forward's book is more conversational than clinical, which is why “Men Who Hate Women and The Women Who Love Them,” is a book that I recommend to anyone who is interested in repairing relationships controlled by misogyny.
