Gardens of the Imagination {A literary anthology}

Book Review by: annavincent

Original Authors: Collected Authors; Edited by Sophie Birotti
The gardens come alive in this bejeweled collection of mesmerizing tales. It makes you feel as if Eve herself is seducing
you into the pages of this delicate masterpiece. A feast for the mind and the eyes.{The illustrations by Peter Malone are marvelous!}
Some of them cast a spell, weaving and teasing your thirst for more. Each tale is a blossom in it's own right. Tantalizing and unique.. never to be forgotten. It makes you feel drunk and infatuated.
It gently lifts you from your place and takes you back in time where anything is possible. You experience subtle forbidden pleasures and whirls of excitement. Nothing in the gardens is predictable or unsatisfying.
It conjurs up the ambience of candle light and wine.This fairytale book for adults is a decadent treat for the soul.
Even when you are reading it alone you feel the kaleidoscope of characters and their emotions fill your living room. You can almost see the soft glowing moonlight on the roses. It is a kiss on your lips and a blanket when you are cold. It has everything you could imagine and more. If you are a lover without a love. Breathe in this perfume until you find someone to hold you.
Walk through a labyrinth of green wild spirited dreams.Travel through temptations in the Garden of Eden. Journey with Alice in a wonderland of bickering daisies. Mingle with the likes of Hawthorne and follow him and "Giovanni" all the way to Italy.
Let the poetic Octavio Paz refresh you with his passionate vision of words and his ability to make them dance for your pleasure. Enchantment is involuntary yet inescapeable when you enter these gardens of the mind. Prepare to be delighted by whispers of paradise. Awaken from within, through the charms of petals and human faces telling you their lives. Allow your fantasies to reawaken and become fertile again.
