Holding tight to the husband

Book Review   by:james preston     Original Author: Gaby Hauptmann

Inoffensive! We have come to expect just a bit more bite from this writer, particularly considering the title. It is a pleasant enough every-day story with an unexpected and unrealistic good ending. The story-line? An attractive woman, not yet into her late thirties, with two grown-up daughters, is left by her partner. She does not look for a replacement, but instead muddles along through life, always on a shoestring; yet still meets up with... You have guessed it; the modern prince charming. Everything seems to be going well, especially after she comes into an inheritance, and the outlook for the future is good. The funniest scenes are those involving a pet rabbit, and a second rabbit which becomes a dog.
