motto: Burning Brightly; absorbed in English
pronunciation.Currently I'm absorbed in English pronunciation training. From
a while back I've been listening to CDs, but without practice it felt somewhat insufficient.Long ago, I got into theatre and I was especially good at
practicing the delivery of my lines hundreds of times. I ordered some tongue twisters on Amazon.com and was practicing with those, but then I found something better. Resident of Japan Steve Walker's "The Jingles" book (ref: Resonance). Now, I'm systematising the production of English sounds. After doing 5 minutes of this training for the day, I listen to Whitney Houston's "count on me" and I can hear everything beautifully. And with this experience, I got the part. I speak as someone who finds it easy to become absorbed in what they are doing. Some day, my
pronunciation will further improve, and I'm thinking I'd like to announce our research results at the JAAS (Japanese Association for American Studies). Recently, my favorite motto is "Burning Brightly". I thoroughly like it. Every time I tried "Jingles", I found myself liking it more and more.
