Well I returned from my work and got down to it ... lying
on the mat on a "no
day post" was a Bulletin offering
excellent food!
The Chilworth Arms, somewhere between where I am and
Winchester. I wondered if someone had seen me
sizing up the situation on the bus ride back and from
Southampton.
I am so hungry when I get back that I bought a few slices
of ham and a couple of bread rolls, but the mouth watering
invitation with "rock bottom" prices appealed to my
taste buds.
Fantastic Sunday Roasts from ¤8.95 and with congenial
company ... who could ask for more.
Well you will get more if you go to The Chilworth Arms,
the luxurious leather sofas, and coupled with excellent
service ... there is something for everyone and then
to cap it all the bar is open all day.
The
place to place yourself on Sundays at lunchtime
in The Chilworth Arms, just outside Southampton,
in fact if you take your walking boots you could be
there on time.
