Iran has a
plan for a
secret nuclear weapon. According to Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Indian Prime Minister, Iran has had a clandestine nuclear progam for the past several years. Dr. Singh said, moreover, that it was not in the interest of the
country to have another nuclear weapons state so close to it. In the
afternoon he said this to a
delegation of Muslim organisations April 18, 2006. Iran must conform to the stipulations of the NPT, the Indian said in the afternoon to the delegates. India did not vote against Iran in the I.A.E.A. because they were forced to by the U.S.A. The decision was taken in the interest of the country. Dr. Singh said this in response to a question raised by a member of the delegation.
