Book Review   by:Isabella Taylor     Original Author: Sara Zarr

Story of a girl is a one of the most intriguing books I have read in a very long time. In the story[BR]a young teenage girl, Deanna Lambert, faces the harsh cruel world of an unforgiving small town. The story includes her best friends Lee and Jason, her brother Darren, his girlfriend Stacy and their baby daughter, and her brothers ex-friend Tommy Webbber. The book is based around Deanna''s encounter with Tommy. At one of Darren''s house parties where Tommy (seventeen) woos Deanna (thirteen) into going out with him. They have sex every time until one day Deanna''s father catches the two in the act. After a long night of crying and embaressment Deanna''s story is known to everyone in their small town of Pacifica. The story includes alot of drama that includes a forbidden love, a heartless father, a mistake child and a petrifying job. The book takes an in depth look into what teenagers face every day and to how we really feel about ourselves.
