Extricating Young Gussie is about the barmy character Gussie Finknottle, the newt geek, who surfaces with hilarious effect in almost Bertie Wooster novels. When Bertie’s frosty Aunt Agatha sends out her visibly reluctant nephew to din some sense into his nutty cousin, no one is prepared for the dénouement, least of all Bertie.
Other stories such as

Man With Two Left Feet are guaranteed to prolong the life of the reader.
