YangGuo was an orphan during the near end days of the Southern Song Empire in China, when he met the hero, GuoJing and was
taken to the Peach Flower Island, where GuoJing lived with his wife, HuangRong. Although YangGuo was very clever, he wasn't taught any martial arts by the couple because of his dark past. After many incidents, YangGuo stumbled upon a great mausoleum where he met XiaoLungNu, the most important woman of his life. From teaching martial arts to being each other's only company inside the mausoleum, they formed a bond that can not be borken.
But
tragedy soon struck, incidents eventually forced them to leave their home and to go out into the world. Considered evil by many because of their relationship, YangGuo and XiaoLungNu wandered in search of a place where they can live in peace. After facing enemies of different sorts, from mercenaries of the Mongol Empire to warriors from a secluded valley, tragedy struck again, separating them and leading YangGuo to become the Condor Hero.
This is the second book to the
Condor Hero Trilogy. Other books from the trilogy are, Legend of the Condor Hero and Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber .
