The Plot: The story tells about a boy whose name is David.
David's father died before David was born.
After a time David's mother remarried to a bad man, by the name of M.R Murdstone. M.R Murdstone hated David & he hit him all the time. After a time David's mother also died, so David was sent to boarding school. David hated the dormitory & he ran away to his rich aunt. When David grew up his aunt sent him to learn a profession in the house of M.R Wakefield her friend. In the low office David met Uriah Heep the clerk.
