Does anyone remember this wonderfully written and illistrauted childrens book? For me it was one that I
loved as a child
and went on to share with both my children and my grandchildren. The story of being frightened of all those
things that scared as as kids was somehow now made to be less scary less frightening and all tose things that went bump in the night were no longer ugly.
How I long for those gone by days of innocence when things could be made better by being held in the arms of an adult that
loved you and would read you a story before you closed your eyes at night and fell peacefully into slumber. The days where there were no worriesw of paying our bills and worrying about our day to day problems. Wouldn't we all like to live where the wild things are??
