What is love? Many terms can be used to define and explain it. Poets, writers and scholars from times in memorial have written
books and extracts with live examples of people having related experiences. Movies, plays, dramas, etc have been made by famous directors and enacted by popular artists. And the trend continues.
It is a feeling, a sentiment,
devotion and a commitment. People have fallen in love coincidently in strange circumstances. ‘Love at first sight’, ‘Love through phones’, ‘Love through mails’ are some common ways of falling in love. It is a virus that is infectious and equally harmful. People loose control of their minds and are ruled by their hearts when they get stung by the disease of Love.
But it is also an incomparable joyous state of life. The forms of love keep changing through times yet Love remains Love. It is logical why young people fall in love but seeing elders in love is the truest form of it. When the charm of youth perishes and no bodily attraction exists, that is the true test of love.
Some terms that explain the features of love are sacrifice, devotion, unconditional ties, and so on. But how many of us actually do so. We state that we are in love and seek all the pleasures of it, ignoring the basic duties towards are loved one. Often the stress of relationships, our daily life routines form a dust over love. It hurts to see people change with time yet portraying to the world that they love us. This is the most
difficult fact to live with.
Love is a wonderful gift of God and all are not lucky to be in love. We must cherish the feeling with our partners through life and let it be the biggest asset. It’s not easy but not too difficult for those who know the meaning of TRUE LOVE!
So give in love and not expect too much. Be polite and show your love before it gets too late. I am in love.
