His expertise on criminal investigation has been widely recognised .Mr.Reddy is also known for indepth research on
Naxalism, a form of armed struggle against State , a growing menace in India.

As a young boy, he was personally selected by
Mahatma Gandhi to stay for long in a Harijan hostel.This progressive changed his inner outlook about life as he came to understand about neglected condition of depressed class in India. Author belongs to the last batch of Hyderabad Police Service and got training under distinguished members of Imperial police.
T.Nagi Reddy conspiracy Case or Communist Conspiracy Case 1969: T.Naggi Reddy was a noted politician and a leading member of
Naxalite movement. He was caught along with his twenty two collegues before they could wage war against State. This group was extremely powerful and well equipped to cause destruction to life and property of a common man. It had already created havoc in Andhra Pradesh.
Sh.Reddy was the chief Investigation officer of this case.This was a mammoth case and involved as many as 325 witnesses.There were more than
9,000 pages filed as documentary evidence.
Finally,all the accused were charged by different courts of law. This case is used as a case study by many Police research bodies.
Sh.Raghava Reddy also led
corps of detectives of Andhra Pradesh Police. He was also awarded with Indian Police Medal and President Police Medal for distinguished service.
Though he retired in 1986 as DIG,he still continues to advise various
police academies on different subjects.
Agriculturalist: After hanging his boots, he turned his entire attention on agriculture. He read a lot about the latest agricultual practices and used them in a barren piece of land. As a result,this land is now a lush farm. This experiment has found mention in many newspapers and agricultural journals.
Many experts from noted research bodies ,such as ANGRAU and NIRD have visited this farm.
