Moon Walk : The One and Only Autobiography by Michael Jackson

Book Review   by:Stargoldman     Original Author: Michael Jackson

Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American recording artist, entertainer, and businessman. Referred to as the King of Pop. In the early 1980s, Jackson became a dominant figure in popular music. His distinctive musical sound and vocal style have influenced numerous hip hop, post-disco, contemporary R&B, pop and rock artists. Aspects of Jackson's personal life, including his changing appearance, personal relationships, and behavior, have generated controversy.
Here are some albums of MJ : Got to Be There (1972), Ben (1972), Music & Me (1973), Forever, Michael (1975), Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991), HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I (1995), Invincible (2001)
Moonwalk is a great amazing autobiography. Michael is the only person that can truly describe himself, his life, his feelings, and everything about him. It's written by Michael himself! He has told some memories, good and bad things that have happened to him. This book is a wonderful book giving Michael's point of view. This book was written several years prior to the madness that surrounded him. This book is illustrated with some memorable photographs. Moonwalk is a memorable journey to the very heart and soul of a modern musical genius.
The book is a good read because it helps you to understand the mind of MJ and especially in light of his recent and tragic passing, the read was also sad and telling. He talks of his insecurities, the lack of closeness with his father, his embarrassing moments etc. What I gathered from this book was he was a highly sensitive and gentle nature. He will be truly missed. A must read for any die hard fan.
The chapters of this book Just Kids With a Dream, The Promised Land, Dancing Machine, Me and Q, The Moonwalk and last chapter All You Need Is Love
