Daniel was born on a blue day, he identifies numbers by means of synesthesia - assigning colours and shapes to numbers and sequences of complex numbers. This ability allows him to complee arithmetic in his mind and provide numerical answers that a calculator would take time to answer. A calculator must be turned on, then, added, subtracted, divided and or multiplied. Time and again the compexities of the human mind far exceed human designed technology.
Daniel came from a poor background and was the eldest of nine children. None of his family had previous experience of third level education. A disjoint journey of extra sensory assaults on his aura continued with social interactions a strain in his every day dealings with other people.
A sojourn as a teacher of English in Lithuania allowed Daniel the time and space to live independently and demonstrated his ability to learn other languages with ease. Daniel recited 22,514 digits of Pi with ease and met Kim Peek the man on whom Dustin Hoffman based Rain Man. Peek could not live independently although he tried.
A language learning website with clips of native speakers' pronounciations, set up by Daniel's friend Neil, allowed some means of independent living coupled with the success of Brainman, a TV documentary on his lifestyle. which ensured his articulateness was broadcast worldwide.
