Castaway Kid by R.B. Mitchell
- This book was given to me as a gift. It sounded really interesting, so I started reading it without any hesitation. Before I even got to the second chapter I was hooked. This book is a true story about the author's own life experience. I could picture every single thing he described in this book. I felt like I was actually in the book, it was really descriptive like a book should be. The book has a great story and great message. It is very inspiring, no matter how old you are this book will change your life. Before you start reading, know that reading this book will cause you to have the greatest emotional roller coaster ride of your lifetime. So I dare you to go pick up your copy and start reading immediately... you will not regret it.

--- Book Description:
Rob Mitchell is one of the last “lifers” raised in an American orphanage. Left by a dysfunctional family in an Illinois children's home, he grew up with kids who were not friends but rather “co-survivors.” After becoming a Christian as a teenager, Rob found what he was looking for, home and family, in a relationship with God. Rob was able to overcome his past, forgiving his relatives and forging healthy family relationships of his own.
