Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Book Review by: invincible

Original Author: none
I had no interest in reading books till i read the stories of
Sir Arthur Canon Doyle which made me a wild reader and
a great fan of
sir arthur conan doyle.I would like to give a brief
description of Doyle, as, he was born at Picardy place,Edinburgh, born
to Charles Altamont Doyle a civil servant and Mary foley Doyle.Father
made paintings to increase his income and mother was interested in
literature.Doyle was a roman catholic but was influenced by jesuits. His
mother made him to develop interest towards literature. Doyle shot to
fame with a charatcer Sherlock Holmes, a
detective but his first work was a MANand a Tiger.People developed
interest in Sherlock Holmes.Later many volumes were produced. In 1902
Conan had to end Sherlock Holmes. Many people displayed their mournings
by wearing bands.Strands a daily magazine lost about 20,000
subscriptions. In 1903 due to the demand he resurrected the popular hero
in THE EMPTY
HOUSE.I think one can imagine the love towards conan and his
stories if a street was named after a place in story where Sherlock
holmes and watson used to reside. It is BAKER street in London and is
the MOST FAMOUS STREET IN THE WORLD.There is no wonder if a museum is
named after Sherlock Holmes. What makes his stories so interesting? When
u start reading any story of Conan,it starts with Watson
describing Sherlock Holmes who were very good friends.Stamford is
a friend of Watson who introduces him to Holmes to share a
room.Impressed by his lifestyle,he starts helping Holmes in solving
the ' mysteries' of clients. Those mysteries when read seems to be
very
difficult to find a solution. The way sherlock Holmes solves it out is
great. I mean when read they(the mysteries) seem to very complicated
yet very simple based on a logic.Anyone
who has a love of reading books based on mysteries will b knowing who
Sherlock Holmes is and who Conan is.when reading a story one can
visualize the situation very easily. One can get into the story and feel
the story and after reading when recollected it gives a great feeling
