Nineteen-year-old girl lives with her parents and sister in hard,
Polish living conditions in one of the most little towns.
Father-highbrow, loves music and art, mother-materialist, who loves,
but simultaneously has very sad, pesymistic look for world. That's why
Ewa wants to get away from this dead-end place to big city, where live
runs at full capacity, where is a lot of hipermarkets and girls wear
the most fashionable and trendy clothes. So when The New Year is near,
Ewa decides to do everything to shine like a star on the party, to
dance on the scene and have her time, which will be the window of the
world, new world. She wears short skirt, so short that her underwear
might be seen, put on very rough make-up and set off for her
live-adventure. But she doesn't presume that this adventure will end on
this way... Dorota Terakowska's book is a breathtaking composition not
only for youth. It shows what may happen after one, unwise excess,
which results we can't blot out. Terakowska suggests, that teenage
girls need help, because the problem of an early pregnance is getting
more and more common and demands a lot of caution. Every baby from the
moment of conception should be loved, because it's a new life, and it
is known, that life is so waluable...
