"Are You There God?It''s me, Margaret" by Judy Blume is one of the best novels she has ever written. Most of Jody''s books deal with pre-teens and their life which is full of problems. Margaret Simon has just shifted from her old house to New Jersey. And she is going to start her sixth grade. Margaret is the only child of her parents. Her mother was a Christian and her father was Jewish. And after the got married, they are nothing! That is they don''t follow any religion any more and they don''t trust God. But Margaret everyday has a conversation with God telling him about everything and requesting him to do favours. And Margaret must decide which religion she is about to follow before she starts Junior High. This is the main theme. But there is much more to this. Margaret makes friends with Nancy and joins a secret club~Pre-teen sensations, with Nancy, Gretchen and Janie. Margaret meets boys and starts to get attracted to them. She craves to grow up and starts getting attracted to Moose. THis book is a fun book which can be enjoyed by all teenagers!!!It is so interesting you''ll hardly be able to keep it down!
