The Roundhill - A ghost story

Book Review   by:Mej1     Original Author: Dick King Smith
ª

While on summer holidays in 1936, fourteen-year-old Evan meets a mysterious girl who bears a striking resemblance to the Alice of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland." They meet on the Round Hill looking down on the town. The rating for this book that I give this horror story is 7/10.
Can you guess what Alice really is? I have made a list of facts that are rather ghostly:
1) One minute she is there – the next she isn’t.
2) She is rather grey
3) She talks as if in the past.
4) She wears very old clothes
5) She walks through a locked gate.
