J K Rowling's Magic

Book Review   by:GeoffWB     Original Author: J K Rowling
ª

J K Rowling writes as if she were a spider, intricately and delicately creating the perfect web of intrigue, mystery, suspense, love, loathing, and my personal favourite, magnetism. Turning the pages becomes painful, as you grieve for the words you leave behind, and you yearn for those ahead.

Harry will be known for centuries to come, and one day, J K Rowling's spellbinding literature will be recited in classrooms all around the world, similar to that of a famous writer of the name, Shakespeare.
She clobbers people by her creative powers repeatedly, yet she never ceases to astonish and push them into a state of complete awe.
If, for a moment, you leave her amazing ability to write out of the equation, what is it that she has truly accomplished? For many, she gives a gift, introducing people of all walks of life to reading - a gift more precious than any. But she also gives people much more. When you turn the pages of a Harry Potter book, you are not just reading another story, but you are joining millions of other people in experiencing an entirely new universe. Intricately created down to the finest detail, leaving no stone unturned as the pages you read create walls of mortar in your mind, spell books full of pages you could almost smell, and wands that you could nearly feel between your finger tips. Harry Potter is a boy who is more famous than many celebrities are, and more famous than billions of ordinary people. Yet, the amazing thing is, is that he is a creation of the mind, nurtured and grown by one woman. The place he has become real though is in the minds of the people who have read from the magical pen of J K Rowling’s hand. She truly is a magician, and we are all lucky to live in a time that she wrote the Harry Potter series. I applaud you J K Rowling. Geoffrey W Boileau
