Harry Potter and the Philosopher''''s Stone

Book Review   by:TojuEnofeDaniels     Original Author: J.K.Rowling

The story centers around Harry Potter and his friends. It is about the series of adventures and misdemeanors they get themselves in. Harry Potter in the story is the good guy(protagonist) while Lord Voldemort is the bad guy(antagonist).
The tale builds up from the transportation of Harry Potter from the magical to the normal world. Harry Potter grows up with his Aunt, her husband and their son, all the while getting treated badly. This changes when after his 10th birthday he becomes a student of a wizarding school, Hogwarts.
While in school he faces the challenge of a normal first year student, along with his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Their bad timing and sense of adventure naturally lead them to clue into some anomalies going on at the school.
By following these clues, they end up facing some magical difficulties, and Harry Potter faces the Dark Wizard himself. It is remarkable that Harry Potter emerged victorious. thus the book ends on a happy note as Harry Potter and his friends bring victory to their house(Gryffindor).
J.K.Rawlings did a remarkable job of combining the natural with the fictitious. In the process the fictitious becomes the norm and every other person becomes abnormal. Harry Potter gives a regular child a chance to wonder how life could have been if it was not the way it is.
