The story: William and Charlie are brothers and like most; they fight lots and the story actually starts with them fighting, hurting each other and arguing lots and all because Charlie, the younger one, talks far too much and says ‘Absolutely’ when he doesn’t even know what it means! But when either one of them is in trouble the other will always be the first to be the one to the rescue. Because after all, they are friends and brothers!
About the author: Dick King Smith is a famous children’s author who writes mainly terrific tales about animals. He is the creator of Babe the Gallant pig, which has been turned into a movie, Dick King Smith lives on a farm in Gloucestershire and has been writing since 1978. When I am older I will do a PHD on him, hopefully, because he is one of my favourite authors.
