Mark Spark in the Dark

Book Review   by:Mej1     Original Author: Jacqueline Wilson

The story plot of the book This book has got two stories. Both of them are about a boy called Mark Spencer (but everyone called him Mark Spark). He usually went to his blind Great Gran’s house after school and in the first story he tries to earn money to get her a guide dog. Will he do it? About the author of the book Jacqueline Wilson is one of my favourite authors and she wrote this book! She has her own personal collection of over 15,000 books and I have about a thirtieth of that! About the awards for the book This book hasn’t won any awards but is written by award-winning author, Jacqueline Wilson. Some of the prizes she has won include the Children’s Book Award (The Suitcase Kid), the Smarties Prize (Double Act), and the Guardian Children’s Book of the Year Award (The Illustrated Mum). My awards for the book I would rate this brilliant book 10/ 10; I really enjoyed this book, to prove that I really enjoyed this book I couldn’t put it down until the very end! I would recommend it to anyone who really likes Jacqueline Wilson’s books – just like me, especially girls.
