Lords and Ladies

Book Review   by:Mej1     Original Author: Terry Pratchett
ª

Terry Pratchett is one of the most popular authors who are writing today. He may be my auntie’s favourite author, as well as thousands of other fans, but he is not the sort of author I read. This fantasy stuff is just not right for me. He has been appointed OBE in 1998 (when I was one) and his first Discworld book for kids, The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents, was awarded the 2001 Carnegie Medal. Lords and Ladies is the fourteenth book in the phenomenally successful Discworld series. It is not that the books in the adult series are unsuitable but they are just so awfully confusing for me. I do not ever know if I will ever be a fan or even just ever like Terry Pratchett’s works but who knows.
